The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with family by his side, on Saturday, March 11, 2023 of George W. Stevenson of Charlottetown, age 73 years. Loving husband of the late Elinor K. Wood. Proud father of Brian (Crystal Savoy) and Andrew. Cherished son of Irene Stevenson and brother of Ann (Seward) DeLorey, Debbie (Jamie) MacLeod, David (Paula Campbell), Janet (Martin) Caird and Audrey (Doug) Ferguson. Survived by sister-in-law Janine Stevenson and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father William V. Stevenson, brother Alan and mother of his sons, Anne (Paquet) Stevenson.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Interment later in New Glasgow Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made directly to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation (Cancer Treatment Centre) or the New Glasgow Cemetery.
