The death occurred peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 of John Philip “Bud” Gallie of Charlottetown, age 87 years. Cherished life partner of Faye Martin. Father of Brenda, David (Marietta), Michael, Patrick and Terrance (Gisele) Gallie. Stepfather of Michael Birt (Lisa Coady Birt). Grampie to Jonathan, Heather, Adam, Andrew, Keith, Christopher, James and Maggie Gallie. “Bampie Bud” to Emma, Sam and Katie Birt. Survived by siblings Joan (the late Wallace) Guitard, Gordon (Lois), Maureen Dearden, Brian (Hélène) and Nancy. Predeceased by parents Charles and Mary (Carroll) Gallie of Dalhousie, NB.

Bud devoted his professional life to advocating for better work and life conditions for groups and individuals. He derived a great sense of purpose and satisfaction from his efforts and met many memorable people on his journey. May he Rest In Peace.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where a family service of celebration and remembrance will be held on Wednesday, July 6 at 2:00 p.m. - the one year anniversary of Bud’s passing.
