It is with heavy hearts the family of Andy Gass announce his sudden passing at his late residence in New Haven, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, age 77. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sheila (Bernard) Gass. Loving father of Blair (Julia), Jason (Johanne) and Cathy (Billy) MacLeod. Devoted grandfather of Rebecca (Dawit), Alyssa (Ian), Michael (Daniel), Craig, Emily (Dave), Richard (Trish), Janessa (Connor) and Jarrod. Andy will be missed by his sibling-in-laws Harold (Trudy), Blanche Matheson, Margo (Edgar) Ellis, Roger, Russell (Heather), Kent (Donna), and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Duncan and Lydia, siblings Wilbur, John, Bernice and Mel, parents-in-law Russell and Dorothy Bernard, siblings-in-law Stewart, Wayne, Roddie Matheson, Devina Bernard and Alta (James) MacCallum.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday from Burnside Presbyterian Church, Clyde River at 11:00 a.m. (by invitation only). For those wishing to view the service, it will be available on the church’s YouTube channel later in the day. Interment in Burnside Presbyterian Cemetery.
