It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Barbie, age 77 on June 4, 2021, of Charlottetown. Born January 26, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Clifford “Jiggs” and Nora “Nonie” MacDonald, beloved wife of the late Larry Stevens and predeceased by her two brothers Donnie (Ruth) and David (Sharon/Brenda).

As a supportive Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and avid sports fan, Barbie could always be found on the sidelines or in the stands at many sporting events supporting her kids and grandson. Family and friends were of paramount importance to Barbie. She stayed in close contact with her extended Island family while living in Ontario cultivating lifelong friendships with so many great people. To Barbie, every day was a beach day!

Devoted Mother to Lisa and Greg. Lovingly remembered by her wonderful grandson Matthew and her ‘chosen sister’ Marjorie. She will be greatly missed by many.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. (by invitation only). A private visitation will be held. Flowers gratefully declined, however, if so desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (PEI Division) or Calvin Presbyterian Church.
