The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving of family at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 4, 2025, of Lee Jay of Pisquid West, age 58 years. Cherished husband of Patty, loving father of Fred (Desiree) and Charlie (Aly) and proud Grampy Goat of Kennedy and Blake. Beloved son of Iva Jay, brother of Charlene (Jamie) Doyle and brother-in-law of Darin Affleck. Fondly remembered by mother-in-law Linda Handrahan and the Handrahan family, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his “biking brothers”. Predeceased by his father Gordon Jay, sister Darlene Affleck, father-in-law Fred Handrahan and brother-in-law Tony MacAdam.
The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Adams and the staff at the Moncton Hospital and Dr. Campbell and staff at Kings County Memorial Hospital for their kind care of Lee.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Monday at 2:00 p.m. from St. John’s United Church, Mount Stewart. Interment in Mount Stewart Peoples Cemetery.
