Our family is heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Heather, March 6, 2022 at the Halifax Infirmary (cardiac unit) with her family present. Heather was born at the PEI Hospital, Charlottetown on November 28, 1968. She is survived by her children, son Michael (Laura) Haywood and adored grandson Wilson; daughter ToniLynn Haywood; mother Jeanette MacLaren, sister Debbie and brother Scott (Cassie); and her former husband and friend John (Gabby) Haywood. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins from PEI, NS, NB, BC, and USA. Also remembered by previous coworkers at Invesco and present Mutual Funds/Equity Associates Inc. Heather was predeceased by her father, John M. MacLaren (1993); grandmother Lydia (Wilfred) MacLaren (1993); grandparents from NS: Walter MacDonald (Weymouth); Ruth and Duke MacDonald (Kentville).

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Sherwood Cemetery, near her Dad.
