The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home on August 22, 2022 of Joyce Ida Jenkins (nee Vessey) formerly of Frenchfort, age 90 years. Loving mother of Linda Boswell, Sherry (John) MacLeod, Nancy Heckbert, David (Colleen) Jenkins and Joanne Campbell, and Mom J/Nana to grandchildren Julie (David) McMurrer, Jennifer Boswell (Scott Gosse) and Jeff Boswell, Shawna and Melissa Heckbert (Chris Andrews), and Kali and Robyn Jenkins. Granny Nanny to Liam and Sarah McMurrer, Reghan and Garrison Gosse, Kiera Perry and Dominic Andrews. Also survived by siblings Beverley Tulle McLean and Barry (Gwen) Vessey and brother-in-law Ernie Seaquist. She was survived by sister Wilma Jeyes White (Don Jeyes and Henry White) who passed away September 19, 2022.

Predeceased by her husband Charles H. Jenkins, sons-in-law Albert Boswell, Ray Heckbert and Michael Campbell, great-granddaughter Savanna Andrews, siblings Shirley (Don) MacPhail and Lorne Vessey and siblings-in-law Junior Tulle and Sonny McLean, Reg (Marge and Eleanor) Jenkins, Garth Stewart, Mary (Howard) Tweedy, Norma (George) Hayden, Isabelle (Cecil) Tweedy, and Gloria Seaquist.
