The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, October 16, 2022 of Lester Roland Larsen of Eldon, six days short of his 83rd birthday. Loving husband of 59 years of Gloria (Knox), father of Douglas (Maureen), Darren (Susan), Randall (Tracy) and Kerri (Shane) Campbell, Grampie of Matthew, Sarah, Eric, Jessica, Hannah, Mitchell, Nicholas, Randi, Kaiya, Kelsey (Logan), Jesse, Hayden, Karmyn, Jazlyn, Brycen, and great-grandchild Maeve. Survived by siblings Louis (Kathy), Wanda Ings and Roderick, sisters-in-law Barbara and Louise Larsen and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Aage and Algunda Larsen, siblings Harold (Aletha), Albert, Margaret (Neil) Panton, Johnny, Bessie (John) Morrison, Florence (Boynton) Panton, sister-in-law Sigrid and brother-in-law Maurice Ings.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday from St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Belfast at 10:00 a.m. For those wishing to attend virtually, the service will be live-streamed on the church’s YouTube channel. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial donations may be made directly to St. John’s Presbyterian Church Outreach Fund or Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
