The death occurred peacefully with family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, February 1, 2024 of Louise Anne Rooney of Charlottetown, age 76 years. Loving mother of Connie (Jason) Macdonald and Lee (Shehla) and Granny/Mamaw of Emma (Jacob) Walsh, Abby Macdonald, Sophie, Gabe and Lila Rooney. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Robert, Kirk (Debbie), Roger, Mary (Layton) Johnston and Arthur (Kim), sisters-in-law Joan Hickox, Mary Hickox and Imelda Rooney, brother-in-law Kenneth (Marion) Rooney, and their families. Predeceased by her parents Eldon and Phoebe Hickox, brothers Frank and Donald, and sisters-in-law Margaret and Claire.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral service Saturday, June 8 at 10:00 a.m. from Central Christian Church. Interment to follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
