The death occurred peacefully on Monday, November 22, 2021 of The Reverend Canon Douglas Henry Sherren of Charlottetown, age 101 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Adams), loving father of Michael (Hazel) and Paul (Deborah), granddad of Benjamin (Elisabeth), Christine (Keith) Sherren-Morell, Kristofor (Karen), Allison, Kathryn and Natalie, and great-granddad of Henri and Annette Sherren, Emily and Isaac Sherren, and Everleigh and Lilah Morell. Survived by son-in-law Maurice “Moe” Rodgerson, siblings Helen McCormick, Ivy Colton, and William “Bill” Sherren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George Edward and Elizabeth “Elsie” (Spicer) Sherren, daughter Lynne Ann Sherren Rodgerson, sister Thelma (George) Jones, sister-in-law Irene Sherren, and brothers-in-law Ross Colton and William “Bill” McCormick.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Monday, December 6, 2021 from St. Peter’s Cathedral at 2:00 p.m. (by invitation only).
