Wendell was a gifted mechanic who loved to talk shop and tell stories. He will be remembered always for his love of dancing to “Dumas Walker” also known as Pappy’s song.
“When the battle stopped and the smoke cleared
There was thunder from the throne
And seven Spanish Angels
Took another angel home.”
