The death occurred peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Friday, August 19, 2022 of Dorothy Grace Acorn (nee Smith) of Charlottetown, age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Edgar “Eddie” Acorn. Loving mother of Paul (Sandra) and JoAnn Acorn Proud, Nana of Vanessa (Nick) Clements, Nicolle (Chris) Downey, Sonya (Lucas) Vanneste, Katie Proud and Jillian Proud (Ryan Mitchell) and great-Nana of 9. Sister of Liona VanWesterneng, Erwin (Judy) Smith and Kevin (Wilma) MacPhee. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Brinsley and Ruth (Birt) Smith, siblings Keir, Allan, Lloyd, Marilyn Gallant, Norma Redmond and Eleanor Younker.
Dorothy was a dedicated volunteer to the CNIB and Meals on Wheels program. She was devoted member of St. Peter’s Cathedral serving on the Altar Guild and Binney Group.

After a long, full life and in her 105th year, Marion Louise (MacLeod) Coffin passed away on December 4, 2021 with loved ones by her side. Marion was born in Norboro, PEI on April 16, 1917, the daughter of William P. and Margaret L. (Brown) MacLeod. She was married to the late Eric Fulton Coffin and only sister to the late Irene L Rogers. Left with sad hearts but wonderful memories are her sons Gary and Roger (Janice), grandchildren Victoria Coffin, Jennifer (Jonathan) Drake, Eric (Melissa) Coffin, great-grandchildren Caleb and Ella Drake, nephews George (Cathy) Rogers and Alan (Brenda) Rogers, and niece Margaret Rogers (Kevin) Whitrow. Marion will also be remembered fondly by the many nieces and nephews of her late husband, Eric Coffin.
Marion lived on her own until after her 100th birthday after which time she moved to Charlotte Residence in Charlottetown. Many thanks to the staff of Charlotte Residence for the wonderful care they provided to Marion over the years. Thanks to the EMS, Emergency Dept, and Unit 3 care givers for treating Marion and her loved ones with dignity and respect.

Beloved husband of Eunice (nee Clarey), loving father of Paula (Wayne) Squarebriggs, Stephen Tanton and Grampy of Amber, Drake and Brett. Survived by siblings Darrold, Joanne Arvay (Arnis Zarins) and Peter (Debbie) and their families. Predeceased by his parents Willard and Gladys (Sentner) Tanton, sister-in-law Catherine (MacCallum) Tanton and brother-in-law Jim Arvay.
Roger was a past Commodore of the Charlottetown Yacht Club and spent many years enjoying the water. He was a successful business owner having operated Tanton’s Accessories for over 40 years.
