Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, February 21, 2021 of Thelma Jean Clarkin of Charlottetown. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Clarkin. Loving mother of Merlin (Bertha) Jay, Irwin (Barb) Jay, Glenn (Freda) Jay, and Darla (Vaughan) Jay. Nanny to Krista (Nick), Courtney (Jason), Travis (Michaela), Tara (Sean), Candice (Gary), and Jarad (Taylor). Survived by siblings Edith (Aden) Clow, Bertha Bruce, Margaret Corney, Bernice (Vernon) Matheson, Ethel (Gordon) Vessey, Garfield (Brenda) MacDonald, and Arlene (Donnie) MacEwen, and sister-in-law Helena MacDonald. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Lois MacDonald, siblings Kenneth and Dewar (Judee), and brothers-in-law Blair Bruce and Hessell Corney.
