The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 of Martha Treggalles of Charlottetown and formerly of Entry Island, Magdalen Islands, age 94 years. Loving wife of the late Samuel Treggalles. Beloved mother of Cathy Welsh and Sharon Robertson (Tom Mullaly), step-mother of Kay (Tom) Hay and Derek Treggalles. Grandmother of Tracy (Brett), Trudy (Vince), Lisa (Ken), Cory, Jennifer (John), James, A.J., Graham (Barb) and Denise (Tony). Grammy Sam to 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Nancy (the late Ernest) Welsh. Survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and their families from the east coast to the west coast and in between. Predeceased by daughter Linda Whittingham, siblings Olive (Ancil) Josey, Isabel (Lorne) Crowell, D. K. “Jimmy” (Annie) McLean, John R. “Jack” (Thelma) McLean, Noble McLean, Margaret (Alton) Welsh, John (Margaret) Dakens and Mary (Roy) Hubley.
The family would like to thank the administration and staff at the Atlantic Baptist Home for their wonderful care, especially her four angels that she loved and adored.
