The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, September 11, 2025, of Nelson Garfield Hurry of Charlottetown, age 85 years. Loving husband of Sandra (nee Lord), father of James Todd “JT” (Karen) and Tyler (Jen) and proud Grampie of Emma, Ava, Julia and Liam. Lovingly remembered by his brother George (Joan) Hurry and sister-in-law Linda Hurry. Predeceased by his son Trent, parents Robert and Enid (Owen) Hurry, and brothers Bob (Davida) and Winston Hurry.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Highfield Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made directly to the PEI Humane Society. Visiting hours Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. St. John’s Victoria Lodge will hold a Masonic Service of Remembrance at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. All brethren are requested to attend.
