The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2022 of Edith Hay of Hampshire, age 91 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Arthur Hay; loving mother of Ruth (Doug) Phillips, Billy (Heather) Hay, Donald (Sharon) Hay and daughter-in-law Ann Hay. Much loved grandmother of Anita (Kenny) Conohan, Amy (Jamie) Hughes, Angela Phillips, Erin (Matt) Prendergast, Lisa Bernard, Jim Hay, Scott Hay (Bailey), Kathryn Hay (Nathan Lawless), Jessica Hay (Justin Canam), Spencer Hay (Bethany Drover), Tyson Hay (Marie Charles), Sarah (Jamie) Cummings, Gordon Hay, Denise (Shane) MacLeod. Devoted great-grandmother to Branson and Bradley Conohan, Anna, Emily and Thomas Hughes, August Prendergast, Hailey and Megan Bernard, Ivy and Hattie Hay, Charlie Ann Canam, Maverick and Westley Hay, Dylan and Darcey Cummings and Jack MacLeod. Predeceased by son Sandy and granddaughter Elizabeth.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the funeral will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. (by invitation only).
